Next Meet

With the boys having a middle school meet Saturday, May 1, it looks like the following weekend's lineup (May 8) will be the earliest possible USATF meets. The Potomac Valley has the Glen Arden Invitational at the Prince George's Complex. Virginia Association has the Real Deal Classic in Suffolk. Registration for the Real Deal is done on CoachO.com and the deadline is May 4.

Can you give us some idea about what these two meets are like? Which one should we do?

Never been to either. Real Deal is super competitive & a long meet(lots of kids). Glen Arden is about an hour closer, by Redskins' FedEx Field. The Thomases will not be at either, as Ryan has a race in Richmond Friday the 7th. Our next USATF meet will be the 15th at Technique Relays.

I think we're interested in finding out more about the Glen Arden one, but I can't find information online anywhere! If no one is going to Real Deal for the full meet, we'll probably go to the one that is closer. I don't want to just start driving and hope we get there, let alone on time. Help a confused mom? I've done multiple searches--Potomac Valley's website mentions NOTHING about May 8, the Prince George Complex's website says "Check back soon." AAHH!
