Maddie & Ellie made the long return trip to Suffolk's Lakeland HS, site of the Real Deal Classic, this past Saturday. Results are not posted yet for their 800m races, but the young ladies showed what hard work at practice does for the PR. Both girls PR'ed in the long jump, with Maddie leaping 8' 4.5", and Ellie placing first in her division with a 8'3" jump. In the 400m, once again PRs for both, Maddie ran a 1;38.19, and Ellie clocked a 1:30.10.
What a performance on a rather dreary weather day! Congrats to both!

It wasn't dreary in Suffolk that day! Temps were in the high 80s and there was a lot of sun. They had to work at staying cool... figuratively and literally.
